A FORMER betting shop in Orford could be set to be turned in to a takeaway.
The former Betfred premises on Poplars Avenue could become a takeaway after Liverpool-based developers Kempton Street Properties submitted an application for a change of use to Warrington Borough Council’s planning department.
A consultation on the proposed takeaway, which would open from 10am-10pm from Monday to Saturday and 12-8pm on Sundays and bank holidays, runs until Tuesday August 30.
