The crash on Longbarn Lane happened at around 8pm
A CRASH between two cars on Longbarn Lane last night, Thursday, has left a man in his late sixties in hospital.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash, which happened outside Heathercroft Nursing Home, at around 8.05pm.
A woman was trapped inside her car and firefighters had to remove the passenger door of her vehicle to free her.
A man in his late sixties was also injured in the crash and he was taken to Warrington Hospital.
He is reported to be suffering back and chest pain but the injuries are not thought to be serious.
Firefighters cleared the scene of the crash and made the road safe.
