POPULAR family pub, Chapelford Farm, has reopened with a new look after a £200,000 renovation.

The improvements took just 15 days to complete and include a new carvery deck, salad bar and revamped interior.

The Santa Rosa Boulevard pub was recently taken over by new managers, Vini and Lucy Kneale, who are thrilled to be taking over at a 'fantastic' pub in their hometown.

The couple had previously been managing the Toby Carvery in Lowton and Vini said they are pleased to be returning to work in Warrington.

Vini, 49, said: "We got offered the chance of running Chapelford Farm and it's fantastic, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

"It's one of the biggest pubs in the town and it's just such an honour.

"Wolfie came in to cut the ribbon when we reopened on July 20 and that was brilliant because I have followed Warrington Wolves all my life."

Former Lymm High student Vini met Lucy, who is from Thelwall, when they worked together at the Dingle Hotel, which closed in 1998.

The couple have been married for nearly 24 years and have two daughters.

Vini said: "We have worked together for most of our working lives. It works for us and we have really enjoyed working with the team here in Chapelford.

"We have been really busy ever since we reopened and people have been happy about the pub's new look."
