AN EMERGENCY services documentary series has been filming in the town and will air its first episode on Monday.

The makers of 999 What’s Your Emergency?, a series that has attracted up to three million viewers per episode, have been filming at Warrington Hospital’s A&E department and alongside the North West Ambulance Service in the town since October.

Crews have filmed more than 100 emergency incidents in Warrington since then, and the first two episodes will focus on incidents involving ‘legal’ highs and mental health in the town.

The debut episode of the show’s third series will air at 9pm on Monday on Channel 4, and will follow a 20-year-old who has collapsed and stopped breathing after a night out and a man who has dialled 999 after finding that a naked stranger his mum met at a punk gig has fallen down the stairs.
