A GREAT Sankey man's thoughtful Facebook post telling concerned residents 'we'll be fine' following the EU referendum result has gone viral.
Sukh Sidhu, 29, published the short message on Friday morning, hours after the UK's decision to leave the EU was confirmed.
He said: "When you wake up and see the result don't react with abuse.
"Just remember, the way someone voted doesn't make them stupid or an idiot or racist or a bad person just because they didn't vote the same as you.
"We're in this together. Abusing people on social media won't change or improve anything.
"The pound dropping doesn't mean doom and gloom. It just means uncertainty in the short term.
"We'll be fine in or out. Look out for yourself, take ownership of your own life, and help people in your own way. Lots of love."
The nutrition coach's post has since had almost 10,000 interactions on Facebook, including 3,519 shares and more than 5,700 likes.
