POLICE are appealing for information following a huge fire at Daresbury Hall on Saturday.
Eight fire engines rushed to the scene on Daresbury Lane at around 5pm and tackled the flames.
The road was closed in both directions until Sunday afternoon and huge damage was caused to the building, which was empty at the time of the fire.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and police remain on the scene after an investigation was launched into the cause of the blaze.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number 691 of June 25.
Information can also be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
