Heavy traffic on M6 between Lymm and Padgate
THERE were reports of heavy traffic on the M6 between junction 20 for Lymm and junction 21 for Woolston and Padgate early this afternoon.
Both lanes were closed following reports of a broken down vehicle on the northbound carriageway and a collision.
Traffic was heavy and contractors from Highways England were on the scene to carry out repair work to the central barrier.
The road was cleared at around 7.45pm and all lanes are now open.
