There are delays on the M56 westbound between Lymm and Stretton.
MOTORISTS are experiencing delays on the M56 westbound after an accident between junction 9 for Lymm and junction 10 for Stretton.
One lane has been closed due to a collision between two cars with long delays for vehicles travelling on the motorway.
The road was totally blocked for around 15 minutes but two lanes reopened at 4.30pm.
