THE CREAM of the town's business crop were toasted at tonight's Warrington Business Awards.

Business from throughout the town went head-to-head in 12 categories during a glitzy black tie event at Lymm Rugby Club this evening.

And the big winners including Key Integrated Services, who claimed Business of the Year, Andrew Jones, who scooped the Businessman of the Year prize, and Businesswoman of the Year Rebecca Lord-Lyon.

Elsewhere, Norman Banner claimed the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The winners in full were:

  • Apprentice of the Year - Brandon Cherrett, Styles and Co Chartered Accountants
  • Green Award - Renewable Energy 4 Business
  • Community Initiative of the Year - Warrington Youth Club
  • Hospitality Provider of the Year - The Peace Centre
  • New Business of the Year - No Brainer
  • Retailer of the Year - Stockton Heath Travel
  • Lifetime Achievement Award - Norman Banner
