SHOPPERS were transported to a galaxy far, far away at Warrington Market as Comic Con returned to the town.
Fans had their pictures taken with a host of Marvel and DC superheroes including Iron Man, Batman, Spider-Man and Captain America as well as Star Wars favourites R2-D2, Darth Vader and Chewbacca.
There was also an appearance from Titan, an 8ft robot who has appeared at the F1 Grand Prix and at film premieres alongside the likes of Will Smith.
The Warrington Market event is returning for 2016 after a successful sci-fi and fantasy celebration last year.
