A MAN suspected of exposing himself in public has been bailed pending further enquiries following his arrest yesterday, Tuesday.

Officers descended on the town centre near to Centre Park and Slutchers Lane following reports of a flasher.

The suspect was detained a short while later on suspicion of exposure and he was taken into custody to be questioned.

He has since been bailed as enquiries continue.

An investigation was launched after two women reported a man exposing himself at Centre Park on Thursday, May 5, at 2.25pm.

Police say the two women were eating their lunch when they first saw a man wearing a striped jumper.

But moments later they saw him again.

He was naked and walking towards them wearing yellow-rimmed sunglasses.

He also appeared to be filming the women.
