A QUANTITY of cannabis has been seized after officers descended on a town centre property this morning.
Police raided a flat on Dutton Court off Mersey Street at 9am this morning.
Six plants were discovered at the property as well as a quantity of freeze-dried cannabis.
A 69-year-old man attended the police station on a voluntary basis to be interviewed by investigating officers.
He has since been given a police caution.
