POLLING stations across Warrington have opened for the all-out elections.
Residents have until 10pm tonight, Thursday, to vote for borough council, parish council and Cheshire police and crime commissioner candidates.
Every council seat is up for grabs and those elected in will represent the electorate at the Town Hall for the next four years.

The candidates battling for the top police role are Conservative John Dwyer, Labour's David Keane, Liberal Democrat Neil Lewis and UKIP's Jonathan Starkey.

Thousands are set to walk through the doors of stations in the town throughout the day, with results to be announced tomorrow.
