EMERGENCY work to repair a 'partially' collapsed building on Winifred Street is set to cost at least £10,000.
The council will be billing the homeowner's insurer for the operation carried out since the work commenced following the events on April 24 when residents were left 'shocked' after bricks fell from the property onto the path.
The council confirmed the junction at Winifred Street and Sharp Street will have to remain shut until the gable end is restored.
A spokesman added: "The gable end has now been completely removed and foundations dug for the new wall."
The Warrington Guardian understands the bill for the work will reach at least £10,000.
