YEAR six pupils buddied up with youngsters from reception at Our Lady's Catholic Primary School's spring hat parade.
The children, who held the showcase for family and friends, got the chance to design and create their own hats.
Nursery kids based on site at the Latchford school, on Wash Lane, were also involved in the event.
Teachers said 'great fun was had by all' during the day, which was organised to strengthen relationships between students.
Parents left impressed after seeing the little ones excel while displaying their creative talents.
