A WARRINGTON woman has been caught up in a social media storm after her post on the Saturday Night Takeaway Facebook page went viral receiving 10,000 comments and more than 7,000 shares before it was taken down.
The controversy started following a couple getting married live on the popular ITV Saturday night show hosted by Ant and Dec.
Helen Gundry posted on the show's Facebook page she had spotted her husband in the crowd of guests with his arm linked with another woman’s.
The post was quickly shared by thousands of people and picked up by a number of national news websites before it was deleted.
But among the comments underneath, an argument soon broke out with one woman claiming Daniel and the woman he was with on the show were in fact 'happily married'.
An ITV spokesperson said: "I have spoken to Daniel and he has actually been married to his current wife for two years and separated from Helen for six."
Helen Gundry has been asked by the Warrington Guardian if she would like to comment.
