A FUNDRAISER for the family of an ‘adored’ baby girl who died at the age of four months will be held next month.

Nova-Lily Brazendale, the ‘gorgeous’ and ‘adored’ firstborn of young Whitecross couple Phil Brazendale and Jess Crozier, sadly died at the age of just four months on January 27.

Her short life was celebrated with an all-pink funeral last month and a fundraising page set up for the couple, aged 27 and 23 respectively, has so far raised more than £3,000.

Family friend Gemma Murray set up the page and has now organised a Q&A session with some of Warrington’s best-known sporting stars.

Speaking to the Warrington Guardian after Nova-Lily’s passing, Gemma said: “She was an adored little girl – she was so tiny and gorgeous and it’s heart-breaking – it’s touched so many people.

“It’s one of those dreadful things that you don’t think would ever happen to you and it touches a lot of people – you can’t even imagine what they’re going through.

“They were so happy and excited – it’s such a shame.”

Gemma’s husband, boxer Martin Murray, will appear alongside Warrington Wolves legends Lee Briers and Ben Westwood at the Q&A, which takes place at the Village Hotel on Sunday April 17.

Tickets are priced at £40 including a three-course meal and comedian, while an auction and raffle will also take place.

Gemma added: “They’re close family friends and we spend every weekend with each other so we just wanted to do something to make it easier for them.

“Nova-Lily meant the world to her parents and it’s nice that so many people are thinking of them.”
