A MAN armed with a knife has attempted to raid a shop in Orford.
An investigation was launched after a man entered McColls in Concorde Place at 7.35pm on Thursday and demanded staff open the till, threatening them with a knife.
DC Sean Innes said: “Although the two members of staff were left shocked by their ordeal, they were not injured.
"We are carrying out a number of lines of enquiries and I would urge anyone with information to contact me so that I can progress with my enquiries.”
The suspect is described as white, 16 to 20 years old, about 5ft 9ins and of slim build.
He had a local accent and was wearing a black jacket with a hood, black gloves and red trainers with black zig zags on them.
