A CONVICTED burglar who targeted homes in affluent parts of Cheshire is wanted by police after breaching the conditions of his release from prison.
James Anthony Boffey had been jailed in October 2011 for almost six years following a police investigation into burglaries where the gang forced their way into luxury properties to steal valuables, often when families and children were at home.
Boffey, aged 31, is originally from Fazakerley in Liverpool but also has links to Rainford in St Helens.
He was released from HMP Liverpool on March 24, 2015, to serve the rest of his sentence on licence but has failed to adhere to his licence conditions and was recalled to prison by the Home Office on July 23.
Despite extensive efforts by the police to find him he remains outstanding and officers need the public’s help to find him.
Anyone with information can call the prison recall team at Wavertree police station on 0151 777 5466 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
