EACH week the Warrington Guardian will publish hotspot areas where recent burglaries, failed break-in attempts and vehicle crime have been reported to Cheshire Police.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who can help with their enquiries to help bring those involved to justice.

Investigations are ongoing after thieves broke into a restaurant in Lymm to steal cash and a mountain bike was stolen from Winwick Road on February 1.

Enquiries continue into purse thefts in Morrisons on Greenhalls Avenue and a cafe on Long Lane in Orford on February 1.

A tumble dryer was stolen from an outhouse in Ulverston Avenue in Orford while diesel was taken from two lorries parked on Gateworth Industrial Estate on Forrest Way on February 2.

A quantity of jewellery was stolen when thieves targeted a house on Liverpool Road in Great Sankey between 8.45am and 7pm on February 2.

Thieves left empty handed after trying to break into a garage on Fairfield Road in Stockton Heath on February 3 at 2am.

Police have launched an investigation into a burglary at The Rope and Anchor on Manchester Road at 3.40am on February 3.

Two motorbikes were stolen from an outbuilding on Parkside Road in Winwick and items were taken from cars parked on Old Liverpool Road in Sankey Bridges and Manchester Road in Paddington on February 5.

A Yamaha mountain was taken after burglars broke into a house on Bardsley Avenue in Dallam on February 5 and a car was stolen from outside a house on Teddington Close in Appleton on February 6.

Padgate Community Centre was broken into overnight on February 7 while cars were targeted on Knutsford Road in Grappenhall, Dingle Bank Close and Chaise Meadow in Lymm between February 7 and 8.
