A WOMAN trapped in a car following a crash in Winwick was rescued by firefighters this morning.
Emergency services were called to Delph Lane at 8.15am following the incident involving two cars.
Two fire engines from Warrington attended.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to rescue the woman.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance has confirmed that the injuries of those involved are not believed to be life-threatening.
