THE heart-broken family of popular businessman Usman Hussain, who was killed in a crash less than two weeks before his 24th birthday, have vowed to turn his dreams into a reality.

Usman’s sister Sadaf Hussain has spoken of how the family’s grief following her 23-year-old brother’s death has inspired his loved ones to turn his memory into something positive to benefit the community.

Sadaf, 25, is determined to open the Huzini House in memory of the business practice and management graduate from Appleton, who ‘spent much of his life assisting those in need’.

The house will aim to tackle the need for more foster families in Warrington.

Sadaf said: “I wanted to do something in memory of him and something that would help the people of Warrington. That is what he would have wanted.

“We had a discussion before he passed away and he wanted to do something similar in Pakistan so I have taken his idea and I want to make it happen in Warrington.

“Being able to succeed this idea for my best friend and brother will give me pride and fulfilment.

“I will complete his dream - a dream he never lived long enough to see".

Sadaf hopes to raise £20,000 to get the cause up and running by the summer.

By putting her efforts into making her younger brother’s dream a reality, it has helped Sadaf to cope with the devastating loss of her brother.

Usman, known as Huzini to friends, was killed after a collision with a heavy goods vehicle on the eastbound carriageway between junction eight in Burtonwood and nine in Winwick in the early hours of December 27.

She said: “It has been very difficult but having something to focus on has helped.

“He would definitely be proud because it was something he wanted to do.

“He was charming, helpful and generous. He was very inspirational and we were very close.”
