EACH week the Warrington Guardian will publish hotspot areas where recent burglaries, failed break-in attempts and vehicle crime has been reported to Cheshire Police.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who can help with their enquiries to help bring those involved to justice.

Investigations are ongoing after jewellery was stolen when thieves raided a house on Glazebrook Lane in Glazebrook between 1pm and 4pm on January 27 by smashing the patio door.

Overnight on January 27, thieves searched an unlocked Ford S Max in Orchard Avenue in Lymm and a Ford Fiesta in Quayside Mews in Lymm.

Between 6.30pm and 7pm, burglars broke into a garage on Cawthorne Avenue in Grappenhall on January 27.

Thieves broke into a shed on Brood Road in Lymm on January 27.

A white BMW 328 was stolen after thieves smashed their way into a property on Pendle Gardens in Culcheth at 3.25am on January 28.

The car keys were taken from the window sill.

Enquiries continue after registrations plates were stolen from a Mercedes A180 parked up on Church Lane in Grappenhall on January 29 from 6.20pm to 7.20pm.

A car was broken into on Seaford Place overnight on January 29 with a satellite navigation system, sunglasses and a lamp taken.

Thieves stole the spare tyre of Nissan Navara at around 3pm on January 29 at Europa Boulevard in Westbrook.

Two men fled the scene of an attempted burglary at 9.10am on January 29 at The Thorn Inn on Grappenhall Lane in Appleton after they were spotted by a member of the public.

A second attempted break-in was reported at the Rope and Anchor on Manchester Road in Woolston at 10.55am on January 29.

Thieves targeted a charity in Stockton Heath but failed to enter The Children’s Society on London Road in Stockton Heath overnight on January 29.

Cash and jewellery were stolen when thieves raided a house on Roughlea Avenue in Culcheth between 4pm and 7.45pm on January 30.

Two vehicles were searched on Old Mill Close in Lymm overnight on January 30 but no items were taken.

Three bikes have been reported as stolen from Deveraux Cycles on Birchbrook Road in Lymm on January 30.

Cash and CDs were stolen from an unlocked Audi A3 parked on Hunts Field Close in Lymm overnight on January 31.

A burglar was in the midst of searching a house in Cyril Street at 12.30am on January 31 when they were disturbed in the bedroom of the house after entering through an unlocked window.

Three units on Rivington Court in Woolston were searched by thieves on January 31.

Thieves failed to break into a BMW parked up on Charnock Road in Culcheth on January 1.
