WILMSLOW Hockey Club women's first team took over top spot in North Hockey Women's League Division Two South West when they defeated Oldham 4-1 on Saturday.
Di Law, twice, Jacq Morgan and Lindsay Rachubka all netted as Wilmslow assembled a 4-0 lead at Phoenix Sports Club.
Oldham increased their intensity to pull a goal back but the damage was already done by a dominant Wilmslow side that looked sharp from the first whistle and went ahead after only five minutes.
Wilmslow worked well as a team, passing the ball around the Oldham players and were unlucky not to add to their tally in the second period.
