CROFT progressed to the quarter finals of the Lancashire Amateur Cup courtesy of beating Bolton side Thornleigh 5-2 away.

Alex Cooke and Michael Stuart both struck twice for the Premier Division side, with a fine solo effort also finding the net from Callum Douglas.

Alex Briscoe's goal-scoring form continued as Burtonwood Albion climbed to third in the Premier Division with a 10-3 demolition of Cromwell.

Briscoe's quartet takes his run to eight goals in three games, while Dom Reid also chipped in with a hat-trick.

Simon Cade, two, and Ben Brown completed the rout for Burtonwood, who had led 4-1 at half time against the 13th-placed side.

Grange Sports slammed seven goals past a Knowsley South Reserves side that only trailed 3-2 going into the last 20 minutes.

Four-goal Scott Robinson got on the end of a fine move to open the scoring and he made it 2-1 from the spot after a Knowsley player was dismissed for deliberately handling the ball on the line.

That led to another incident where both sides had a player dismissed.

Ryan Wilde goals made it 3-1 and 4-2 before Jake Shaw and Robinson wrapped things up.

Grange Sports Reserves fought back from two goals adrift to draw 4-4 at Moorfield Reserves in Division Four.
