OFFICERS have shut down a cannabis factory in Orford following the discovery yesterday, Monday.
Police raided the industrial unit on Long Lane at 10.40am following intelligence from members of the public.
Sixty cannabis plants were seized along with drugs paraphernalia.
An investigation has since been launched to trace those involved.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At 10.40am on Monday, October 26, police discovered a cannabis factory in an industrial unit on Long Lane, Warrington.
"Officers attended to dismantle the factory and an estimated 60 plants were seized along with the associated paraphernalia."
Anyone with information has been urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 235 of October 26 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
