CLOCK Face ran out winners in a hard-fought derby for the right to meet Widnes West Bank in the North West Men's League Premier Division play-off final at the Select Security Stadium on Saturday, kick off 6pm.
The game was so close in the first half that there was only one score via Matt Garner, crossing in the corner.
An early try by Alex Rigby converted by Martin Hutton at the start of the second half increased Clock's lead but Haydock hit back soon after when Andy Bacon went in for a try and then Dean Dollin added a penalty minutes later to put Haydock back into the game.
Garner went over for his second try, then a penalty by Hutton increased Clock's lead further to put the game out of reach.
On the stroke of full time Karl Dinsdale went over at the corner for Haydock to finish off the scoring.
