TO celebrate the town's biggest toy store's 30th birthday, we're giving three lucky youngsters the chance to play with this year's top Christmas toys.

While the Warrington Toys 'R' Us store opened in 1988, many megastores across the country are marking three decades in 2015 selling 3 billion toys to 360 million customers.

Many adults will remember getting excited about the latest 'must-have' Christmas toys of the past whether it was Tamagotchis, Transformers or Thunderbirds which all feature in our 'toy timeline' below.

But now we want to give three youngsters aged seven to 10 from Warrington the chance to get a sneak peak of this year's top toys before Father Christmas loads up his sleigh.

Each winner will also get a £50 Toys 'R' Us voucher to spend in store and will appear in a future edition of the paper as we reveal the most popular presents for 2015.

For full details on how to enter the competition, pick up a copy of next week's Warrington Guardian.

But in the meantime here's a chance to reminisce with some of the best-selling toys from the past 30 years.
