NSPIRED by the Humans of New York blog, we will be providing names to faces you may see everyday and telling stories from people who help make Warrington special.

NAME: Rob Wood

AGE: 36

LIVES: Latchford

OCCUPATION: Civil servant and president of Warrington Town's Supporters Club

"I was 12 years old when my older brother started going to the match with his friend Pete Magill but they wouldn't let me go with them.

"My first game was the 91/92 season and I loved it but it helped that we won 4-0!

"I have been going ever since and had years of people saying 'Who are Warrington Town? 'Why do you support them?' and then all of a sudden people I hadn't spoken to for years were asking for tickets for the FA Cup game last year.

"It was surreal to have a night like that and I was speechless after the game.

"There would be times in the past where there was only four of us going to games but there was something special about that compared to lots of people jumping on the club.

"We're playing good football at the moment so here's hoping we can move up the leagues."
