WARRINGTON Wolves fans got the chance to meet their heroes on Saturday – and even challenge them to a skills test.

The players were out in force at Golden Square for the club's first Member's Day as part of the launch of the 2016 Hardwired membership scheme.

Fans got their pictures taken, snapped up autographs and even played rugby with members of the first time while also enjoying live music and activities.

Live music came from X-Factor star Emilia, and three piece north west rock band, Havoc 51 whose fanbase soared when they played at The Halliwell Jones Stadium before the club’s Challenge Cup clash with Leigh this summer.

Young fan Lucy Mae Williams, aged two, beamed as she high-fived club mascot Wolfie. Lucy was at the event with her mum Samantha Thomas, of St Peter’s Way.

“I’m from Manchester originally but started following the Wolves when I met my husband and we live just across the road from the stadium and so are huge fans,” said Samantha.
