Air ambulance called after M56 rush hour crash
ROAD blocks have been released after an accident between junction 11 Preston Brook and junction 12 Runcorn on M56.
All three lanes were blocked following the crash on the westbound carriageway in the last hour.
A Highways Agency spokesman added: "The Air Ambulance is on scene and the incident is affecting traffic heading between Manchester and Chester."
