WARRINGTON Town Reserves inflicted a first league loss of the season on Lostock Gralam on Saturday.

Town won 4-3 to maintain fifth spot in Cheshire League Two.

Rhys Bowers, Ben Collins, Dylan Glass and Lloyd Pownall hit the mark.

Moore United climbed off the bottom as they bagged their first win of the season.

They beat Cuddington 2-1 away thanks to goals from Sean Willott and Dec Wakefield.

Grappenhall Sports, however, fell 7-0 at Middlewich Town in League One, with their reserves also conceding seven times at home to Poynton in Reserve League One. Anthony Dalton scored the only goal in reply.

Whaley Bridge suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Greenalls Padgate St Oswalds Reserves.

Matthew Rigby and Paul Molloy found the mark for Greenalls, who climb to fourth.

Eagle Sports Reserves became first victims this season to their Styal counterparts in a 3-2 home loss.

Jackson Heywood and Ross Morrison found scored for Eagle.

Rylands went top of Reserve League Two on goal difference after a 5-1 success at Golborne Sports.

Nick Jordan, Andy Williams, Luke McCoy, Ryan Matthews and Jack Lawrence all hit home to see Rylands overtake Denton Town, who also have 15 points but have played a game more.

In a successful weekend for Moore United, their second string edged a nine-goal thriller at home against Cuddington.

Phil Gahgan struck to cancel out a 21st-minute opener from the visitors, with Tom Smith doing the same before the break in a game of cat-and-mouse.

Cuddington took the lead for a third time early in the second period when Dale Robinson turned the ball into his own net, only for the visitors to return the favour for 3-3.

Gabor Farnadi hit home from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box to put Moore ahead for the first time.

His second proved to be the decider, though Cuddington added a consolation effort in injury time.
