THERE must have been at least one shopper who shouted 'Great Scott!' as they stumbled across Warrington Market's Time Travel Convention at the weekend.

October 2015 was the month Marty McFly and Doc Brown travelled to when they jumped forward 30 years in Back to the Future II.

And to celebrate fans of the cult film came from far and wide to join in with some time travel fun.

The convention included Doc Brown's DeLorean which can go in 'hover mode' as well as street theatre performances of scenes from the films.

Attractions also included Arnold Schwarzenegger lookalike and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist, Stu Arnold, performing as the Terminator, Dr Who and the Daleks and the chance to sit on Game of Thrones' Iron Throne.

The Time Travel Convention follows on from Warrington Market's Comic Con in May which proved to be a huge hit attracting an estimated 10,000 visitors.
