TWO Warrington Athletics Club teams competed in the National Road Relays at Sutton Park on Sunday.
In the under 13 girls' race, Rebecca Nixon ran the first leg handing over in 37th place in 16 minutes 17 seconds to Siobhan Gregory.
Gregory recorded 17mins 41secs, dropping back to 50th place. The final stage was taken by Charlotte Stokes, who moved the team up to 44th place in 17mins 46secs for a total time of 51 minutes 44 seconds.
In the under 17 men’s race, Sam Rostron ran the first stage handing over in 57th place in 14mins 01secs to Jack Stubbings.
He moved the team up to 40th with a time of 13mins 03secs and it was Daniel Fox who took over for the final stage.
His run of 13mins 46secs moved Warrington up to 38th place in a total time of 40 minutes 50 seconds.
