COULD this be Warrington’s trendiest office?

With a pool table, table tennis table and the ability for potential clients to virtually walk through the building thanks to Google maps, it must come pretty close.

Results Through Digital (RTD) houses web development companies EMS Internet and EMS Fifteen as well as app development businesses Appitized, Appitized Health and Appitized Business in its office on Centre Park near the town centre.

But when staff are not busy at work in front of a computer screen they can make the most of ‘break-out areas’ including a TV shaped like an iPhone, playing Fifa on the Xbox and the chance for colleagues to battle it out on table football.

Warrington Guardian:

Chief executive Jamie Wilson said: “We moved here because we wanted to provide a better working environment for our team which should translate to a better experience for partners and customers.

“I like pool so I wanted to bring the table in for the team and for customers who may come in for a coffee, a conversation and a game of pool.

“You can still get stuff done when you’re having a good time and if you sit at your desk all day, every day you’re going to be a bit tetchy.”

Inspirational and motivational quotes cover feature walls of the building at the business park, selected by Jamie and the marketing team.

Upstairs is where the ‘serious competition’ takes place on the table tennis table.

Wigan man Jamie, who is originally from London, says it is a good way for their employees to ‘let off some steam’ after working on complex apps and software.

He added: “There’s positivity behind something tangible and it (the quote walls) look like a beautiful day even when sometimes the weather is not so great.

“There’s lots of great businesses on this park and we always tell clients from London to come see us and they can be surprised Warrington is such a good place to be.

“We pick them up from Bank Quay and they leave with great comments and great memories.”
