POLICE and ambulance services attended Bold Street in the town centre on Wednesday following concerns over the 'safety' of a man.
Officers attended before an ambulance arrived on the scene just after 6.30pm but no arrests were made.
Cheshire Police confirmed the call-out was down to 'safety concerns'.
The man was taken to hospital.
