Woman airlifted to hospital following crash on Manchester Road
A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on Manchester Road this morning.
Emergency services remain at the scene today, Wednesday, following the incident involving a car and a HGV at around 9.40am.
Cheshire Fire have reported that the woman had to be rescued from the vehicle in Rixton-with-Glazebrook before being taken to hospital.
The incident is believed to have happened one mile west from Warburton Bridge.
