A LUCKY nine-year-old Warrington Wolves fan had two reasons to celebrate on Sunday.

As well as witnessing his idols complete a dominant 44-6 win at Castleford, Loui Ashton, who was in the stands, was given Chris Hill's skull cap.

The Stockton Heath Primary School pupil was thrilled after receiving the souvenir before making the journey home with dad Chris, mum Julie and sister Darci.

But he has not been the only lucky fan this season as four-year-old Riley Skelton was also 'over the moon' to be handed Hill's skull cap after the Leigh Challenge Cup game.

Mum Emma added: "I am a Warrington fan and my husband is a Leigh fan, (he of course wants his son to be a Leigh fan too) so in the first half our Riley was with the Leigh fans and for the second half he was in the South Stand wearing his Leigh shirt in the middle of a stand full of Wire shirts.

"At the end of the game Chris Hill came straight over to him and passed him his scull cap.

"He was over the moon.

"Chris Hill is a legend and such a down to earth man for making the day of the kids at each game."
