SECTIONS of the A574 Birchwood Way will be closed this weekend for surface repairs.
The road will be closed from Blackbrook Avenue to Woolston Grange Avenue on Saturday and from Orford Road to Blackbrook Avenue on Sunday.
The sections will both be closed from 8am and 8pm and a diversion route will be sign posted via Woolston Grange Avenue and Manchester Road.
Work on these sections of Birchwood Way will be completed from Tuesday next week during off-peak hours - between 9.30am and 3.30pm and after 7pm - and is expected to take three days depending on the weather.
The road will be open to traffic during these works and traffic control will be used with a temporary 30mph speed limit in force.
Warrington Borough Council apologises for any delays caused for these essential maintenance works.
