HER story has touched the hearts of many in the town after she refused to let her cancer battle dictate how she lived her life.

Now, almost six month since inspiring teen Molly Beechall from Appleton died, Warrington Wolves players are backing the charity set up in her memory.

Wolves’ captain Joel Monaghan added: “The lads and I fully support the work being done by all local charities.

"Molly was a real inspiration and her cause really does pull at the heart strings.

“Many would say we need to be strong for what we do out on the rugby pitch but Molly's strength and determination showed somebody with real strength.

"It's has been great to see staff and students at Warrington Collegiate join together raising awareness in Molly 's memory, and we will look to help in any way we can."

Molly was only 19 years old when she died – leaving behind her daughter Lola-Sue.

Despite receiving the devastating news that the cancer was terminal during her studies at Warrington Collegiate, she continued with her HND qualification in health and social care.

She was presented with the inspirational student of the year by the Collegiate at the Higher Education Awards Ceremony in November following her graduation.

Molly’s Memories was set up to give her daughter, Lola-Sue, the life her mum wanted for her.

But future fundraising will now help to support those in similar circumstances,

Mark Harris, director of curriculum at Warrington Collegiate, said: “We were all amazed and inspired by Molly's determination to succeed, as well as deeply saddened by her loss.

"In recognition Warrington Collegiate is supporting the charity and are grateful to Warrington Wolves for their support in raising awareness of the cause.”
