THE new Warrington Wolves crest may have only been revealed for the first time yesterday but one fan has already got it permanently inked on their body.
Mick Brown, from Latchford, headed to Ash's Tattoo Studio, on Buttermarket Street, yesterday but with no appointments available, tattooist Ash Langner came in early this morning, Friday, to start the tattoo at 8am.
And two hours later the 29-year-old was showing off his new ink on social media.
Mick, who has 15 tattoos in total, added: "I got the old badge when I was 16 so I wanted the new one as soon as it came out.
"It's on the other side of my arm to the old one but I won't be getting the old badge removed.
"I don't mind the club changed the crest, I just wanted to get the new one straight away."
Stacey Langner, who runs the business with her husband, said they were not surprised to get a request for the new tattoo so soon after it being revealed and are expecting a lot more people over the next few weeks.
