ON your marks, get set, go as charity ballot places for this year’s English Half Marathon are now available.
St Rocco’s Hospice and the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation have been selected as the 2015 charity partners for the sporting event, which this year takes on a new route around the town on September 20.
With discounted sign-up in return for sponsorship for two of the town’s best loved causes, charity ballot places
are available for £10 with a commitment to raise at least £200 or £150 in sponsorship for either the hospice or the foundation in the half marathon or 10k distance.
Amy Blackburn, marketing and office manager from Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation, added: “2015’s Half Marathon will be extra special with a section running through the stadium.
"It’s a privilege to be selected as a charity partner alongside St Rocco’s during both our anniversary years."
