IT will not just be fans and players heading to Newcastle this weekend as the Wolves Foundation’s community dancers Fusion will be travelling to perform on the pitch at St James’ Park as part of the Magic Weekend.
The 'Join the Momentum Dance' project with Rugby League Cares will see hundreds of dancers form across the north west and Yorkshire perform on the pitch at St James’ Park as part of the match day entertainment.
A spokesman added: "The Foundation’s dancers have been busy rehearsing the high energy choreography in preparation for their upcoming performance in front of crowds of more than 52,000.
"Fusion regularly perform on the pitch at the Warrington Wolves home games and are excited to perform to a much larger crowd.
"The Join the Momentum project will continue this summer when dancers will perform on the pitch at Wembley Stadium as part of the Challenge Cup final match day entertainment."
