INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing after a woman was struck by a car near to a primary school following a heated dispute over parking.
The victim was taken to hospital via an ambulance following the incident on Thursday, May 21, but has since returned home.
The police have confirmed that they attended the scene near to Westbrook Old Hall Primary School at 8.50am following a dispute between two women over parking.
A spokesman said: "A verbal altercation over parking had taken place between the two parties.
"As the driver manoeuvred the vehicle to leave the scene it has caught the victim and caused them minor injuries."
Enquires remain ongoing into the incident.
