SINGER Nathan Grisdale and R&B band Mr Meanor are heading to Golden Square to meet their fans.

They will be appearing at the shopping centre’s Head music store on Tuesday from noon.

The band will be signing copies of the new Mr Meanor CD Here With You, which features Nathan, and which is released on Sunday.

Mr Meanor, who have appeared alongside Tinchy Stryder, said: “We can't wait to see all of you again with our bro Nathan.

"It’s the first time we have travelled around the UK to meet fans face to face and we couldn't be more excited to meet everyone.

“Releasing our first single in the UK is exciting. We have no idea what to expect. Without a major label it's difficult but we're hopeful for a good result.”

Announcing their appearance at Golden Square on Twitter, Rowan added: “I want to see as many of you as possible.”

It’s a trip back to the north west for footballer-turned-musician Nathan, who hails from Blackburn.

The 20-year-old has built a strong following and last year his single Lone Soldier broke into the charts, and helped raise funds for Help For Heroes.

Head manager Dave Rafter said: “We’re really looking forward to meeting Nathan and the guys from Mr Meanor.

“We know they all have huge followings on social media and this is their only appearance in the north-west, so we are expecting a big turn-out.

“Events such as CD signings are great fun and it’s one of the strengths of being an independent store that we can attract such a variety of artists.”

Head has recently hosted appearances by rockers The Cribs plus Britain’s Got Talent favourites Bars and Melody, while last month hundreds of vinyl fans head to the shop for Record Store Day.

Ian Cox, Golden Square director, added: “We are getting ready to welcome huge crowds for these young artists. We had more than 1,000 fans turn up to see Bars and Melody, and these musicians have an equally big following.

“It’s great to be able to host event such as this, especially during half-term, and enable fans to meet their idols. I’m sure it will give their latest single a huge boost.”
