LABOUR’S Warrington South candidate in the General Election has opened up about why he believes the party lost the race for the seat in a BBC broadcast.
In his 25 seconds on camera, Mr Bent admits former leader Ed Miliband did not convince most undecided voters in the constituency he was a ‘strong potential’ Prime Minister.
He also addressed the electorate having a lack of trust with Labour over the economy.
Parts of the broadcast were filmed in Stockton Heath, on London Road.
