THE husband of Christine Madden is to host an art exhibition in her memory.
Michael Madden, of Barleycastle Lane, will hold the gallery to mark a 'very brave 12-year fight against genetically-inherited arthritis' by his wife.
Christine was killed in a tragic accident after a fire broke out in the home they shared last year.
The 82-year-old said: "As a tribute to Christine and to offer a little assistance to the UK Arthritis Research campaign in its efforts to alleviate this painful crippling disease, I am organising an exhibition accompanied by afternoon teas."
The exhibition will take place in a barn converted into an art gallery over 10 weekends in June, July and August of this year.
The gallery will feature Michael's work, who has been a member of the Warrington Art Group for more than 20 years.
A total of 50 per cent of each sale will be donated to Arthritis Research UK and will be held every Saturday and Sunday from June 13 to August 16 from 2pm to 5pm at Oaklegh Lodge Farm.
Visitors can park in the cul-de-sac opposite the barn.
