SUPERHEROES assembled on Saturday to take part in a world record attempt at Toys R Us on the Europa Boulevard.
Caped crusaders were called on to dress up as their favourite characters to break the record for the most people dressed up as DC Comics superheroes in 24 hours.
From Australia to America, thousands of fans across the globe dusted off their masks and signed up to take part.
Willing participants donned their favourite costumes which included Batman, Superman and The Flash but will have to wait a few more days to find out if the record attempt was a success.
Store manager Simon McNab hailed the event as 'fantastic'.
He added: "The people who came created such a great buzz at the store.
"There were all ages taking part from a six month old baby dressed in a romper to a whole family dressed as Batman and Robin.
"We thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many comic characters in full dress-up in the store.
