CCTV images have been released of three men wanted in connection to a brawl which broke out on Orford Lane leaving one man in need of hospital treatment.

Officers have launched an appeal for help to trace the three men following the assault on April 4.

Police say that at 6.40pm, two men were allegedly racially abused and then attacked by a number of offenders as they walked along Orford Lane near to the Co-Operative store.

A 38-year-old man from Warrington was taken to Aintree Hospital with injuries believed to be serious and but has since been released from hospital.

A man, aged 33, from Warrington suffered minor injuries.

Three men have already appeared in court following the fight. 

Ryan Swindells, aged 20, of East Avenue, Orford, and Declan Jenks, aged 20, of Alder Lane, Orford, have been charged with affray and section 18 assault and have been remanded in custody.

Joshua Williamson, aged 20, of Rynet Court, Marsh House Lane, was charged with affray and was released on bail.
