A GROUP of riders have entered their third day of cycling as they attempt to cover 600 miles in six days.
Woolston Bike Riders Martin Finnegan, aged 47, 52-year-old Mick Skerrett, Wayne Buckles, aged 49, 47-year-old Stuart Hardman and Terry Reid, aged 48, landed in Lisbon in Portugal on Saturday for the trip of a lifetime.
After a year of planning, the group, who are all from Warrington, aims to cycle from Lisbon to Mojácar in southern Spain, arriving on April 3 after cycling 100 miles a day to raise money for Cancer Research.
Their families are urging the people of Warrington to get behind them and show their support by following them on Twitter to receive regular updates and to send them good luck messages.
